You are an AMAZING young woman… That's a lot of hard work, taking care of a farm and a family… I bet your mom is very proud of you..
Our chicken coop has an outside access nest box. It took several years, earlier this season a raccoon figured out how to get in through the nest box hatch at night after the birds were "safely" locked up for the night. We lost half of our flock before I could figure out what was happening. Birds are currently secured in the main barn with Sally the Donkey deterring predators so far.
Did you get rid of Shake and Bake??
