There was no way that we were leaving our monster rhubarb behind at the old house, but finding a way to transplant it was easier said than done. This ended up being our craziest transplant yet This rhubarb plant is over 20 years old, and this is the second time that we have transplanted. It produces over 100 lbs for us every year, and has self seeded many babies too. When transplanting, the more of roots that you can get, the better for the plant, but this plant was so large, it was a struggle to get what we did. Don’t worry though.
