  1. You grew a lot of lectins this year. I just read The Plant Paradox and I highly recommend to add it to your reading list. Teachings that include our evolution tend to resonate with me. I just started the diet last week and if you're interested I'll let you know how it goes. I don't have any health problems but still expect to see improvements in minor things that bother me from time to time (e.g., bloating). There are just too many vegetables and fruits (fine to eat in season) to bother taking the risk with lectins (without the proper cooking in a pressure cooker but I'm not in Phase 3 yet :).

  2. Hi James
If you end up down by me or would like to link up please let me know, I'm in Bel Air, Md . Would love to get your thoughts/tips on changing things up a bit in my garden. Hope you like Kale salad lol!

  3. Hi James! I have a quick question for you… I'm starting a property of about 4 acres, planting annuals and fruit trees. We've had the visit of wild hogs, even when the property has an (old) wire (3 lines), they still manage to get in (I think in some part the wire might be broken – have to check). What do you recommend for closing (I don't think I can afford fencing for the full property)? And for keeping wild hogs away? Thank you so much!!

  4. Hi James, this is Irene, I love to see your garden looking like mine…. Remember that this is my first year , following your first year garden, but I also love to see your 7 or 8 year garden to see what mine will look like in the future. To see where I can thin and plant in the right location… I love that you show what works and what doesn't so that we don't make the same mistakes and learn from you !!! Love Tuck too….. I need a Tuck for my garden !!!

  5. What do you do with the leaves as they fall? It didn't look like you left them, but that's a lot of fiddly raking to get the leaves out. Plus the removing carbon-mulch to make room for carbon-mulch.

  6. YES we definitely want to see as you change your food forest. I LOVE watching your yard develop. Very jealous….I am very limited with what I can do. I have containers I garden in when possible so I do what I can.

  7. Hi James, I'm interested to hear about how you use compost (post chicken coop) with your wood chip approach. I have no hens and a much smaller garden, am treating my compost a little like you treat wood chips – with varying results (a fair heap of weeds!) interesting to hear your take on that.
And – keep up the good work, I'm always taking something away from your videos. Thanks!
