The lights are up and it is time to show you what we have been working on for the past few weeks. This is going to be a fun year!
Special thanks to Keith from http://www.TheHydroSource.com for sending these lights. I recommend anyone interested in indoor gardening to check out his website.

Hi! I was wondering if you can feature this guy in one of your videos. He creates and teaches some amazing stuff related to sustainability and off grid living https://youtu.be/vWEeWoro1k8. I mean if you find it interesting
I confess I was a little shocked by the title, until I realized who posted it.. That is actually super cool. If I were you I would be buying some potted citrus, maybe a potted litchi tree, and overwintering them there! And if you really wanted to grow crazy you can buy mangosteens, and other tropicals on Ebay.
I love using my T5 indoor grow lights! I have them on a timer as well. It's amazing to see all your plants thriving indoors, when it's just way to cold outside to grow anything. Lol
What about power costs? How energy efficient are they?
I am so excited. I’m trying to grow tomatoes indoors as well so I’m looking forward to seeing how you hand pollinate. Also would you consider growing spinach and Kayle indoors? I feel like that’s part of the letters family right? PS I’m so glad you connected us to keep his sight is awesome I’m going to be buying stuff myself
The problem with having only 1 timer what if you wanted to use the smaller ones for something else and need to flip fruiting to 12/12 and keep some vegging over to 18/6?
We appreciate your effort to preserve the giant crimson, and acclimate it to modern environmental conditions. You are doing good work.
Wish I had thousands to do this. Wonder what your electricity bill is going to be. Hmm….
It looks so great! I’m so excited to see what’s coming! 😀
The growing conditions is better controlled indoors but nothing replaces the sun!
MY guess is these Infinity 150's aren't on the market yet?
I would like to know where you acquired the seeds for this variety?
Ok. Perhaps its all easy enough but I'm wondering how is it that you manage pollination for an indoor garden?
Darn, lol I saw a light box (older one) on curb when driving to pick up daughter from work. I though it might be a grow light lol …
Man with new toys
Magic ancient tomato seeds lol
Luke, could you provide some more information on which lights you are using? I have looked on the website several times and I can't seem to find the components of your lights. Any help would be very much appreciated!
How much will this cost in energy bills? Wondering if its worth trying out grow lights in general… thanks
This would never pass an electrical inspection in Illinois.
Which specific light are you using, will it work for my Lemon tree in the winter?
I have a really nice grow room too and I grow "herbs" as well LOL
I found these fancy led lights with hangars by greengo on Amazon. Have a daisy chain link design. Very cheap and bright with a veg/ bloom switch. I'm excited to transform my apartment bedroom into a grow room
Can someone post the name of these lights so I can search for them. The website in the description is no longer up.
I'd love to see a comparison between grow room and winter greenhouses for northern climates. I'm deciding which would be best for growing food in the winter. I haven't crunched the numbers to see if light or heat are more expensive.
You didn't say what brand & model the 300 watt LED lights are. Can we have a link?
