Twice he says that the same scientific organizations and gatekeepers, that are in cahoots with the GMO industry, are doing very good and honest work regarding climate change. Then he bashes American mainstream media as propagandist, except where they report on Trump. You can't have it both ways all the time. Either, hold out the possibility that many/most of our institutions are entirely evil and organized in manipulating the populace, or that perhaps they are rock solid purveyors of a truth that you don't like.
Some bacteria have evolved to degrade plastic but humans are not bacteria. The ecosystem and the human body will one day be capable of detoxifying all the toxic chemicals that we pumped into the environment GIVEN a million years of evolution! The problem is that science as it is being controlled by economics is continuing to pump out toxins in the form of newly introduced chemicals at a ever increasing rate so high that human and ecological systems cannot adapt to detoxify them. What does this mean? It mean that if a chemical is not found in nature, it should not be allowed to be produced! It means that if a material is intended to be produced in concentrations not found in nature, then it should not be allowed to be produced. It is humbling, but these are the scientific facts. Humans ability to supersede nature is thus an illusion as it ultimately leads to humanity’s own extinction. Nature always wins. The only solution is for humans and their society to recognize that they are intended to be the steward and servant of nature and NOT its master.
