  1. Yes Mam we have broke the all time record of rain up here also. It has been one crazy weather year all the way around. Your winter garden is doing real good Mrs. Lea! You folks grow some amazing things over there! Hope you have a great week and Merry Christmas!

  2. I feel your pain about the rain up here in NorthEast Pennsylvania. Our average rainfall is 56 inches and we are currently at 77 inches. What a strange year it's been. Thanks for the update. Have a lovely week! Catherine

  3. Your winter garden is looking good even though it's been raining so much. Those naughty squirrels eating up your broccoli and sweet peas. Thanks for the update on your garden. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!

  4. Cheaper to eat the squirrel(s) than to feed them heh!! 🙂 Hope the rain lets up
and allows you all to get your gardening on. Gotta love some Black Seeded Simpson
lettuce that's for sure!! Happy Gardening. Happy Holidays.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Have a good'nnn

  5. Never thought to water my "babies" with the kitchen sink sprayer. I've always misted mine with a spray bottle. Kitchen sprayer looks more efficient! Hope y'all have a Merry (and dry) Christmas!! Linda

  6. Nice update from Water World Lea and Al! Looks like a soggy mess, but as usual, you all are doing what you can when you can. Sorry about the squirrel damage, but look at the positive, the squirrels really appreciate your efforts! Wow, 55" average annual rainfall! Where I live, it is 14". And 63" so far this year plus three more rainy days and 2 weeks left in the year. Sounds like a record wet year! You all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  7. Down here in Picayune I'm still starting broccoli in the greenhouse, and started another tray of spinach because my direct-seeded did not do well. I don't have a squirrel problem here even though I pretty much live in the woods, probably because I have two outdoor cats. I've also started my tomatoes and peppers for next year.
