I am in love with this DIY dishwasher pods recipe. Previously to making these ourselves, we would purchase the powdered washer, and this recipe works so much better. Best of all, it is zero waste and frugal, two things important to us on the farm.
3 Ingredients, no borax! Simple to make, and convenient to use.
1 cup Washing Soda
1/2 citric acid
1 tablespoon dish soap
I always make a triple batch for extra convenience. The original recipe makes about 12 dishwasher tablets.
We are sharing this recipe because it really works! And you can make your life even easier, and just mix the powders together for a scoopable detergent.
