Oh my goodness 10 to 15 years. Ay ay ay
i used miracle grow crystals and i disolve them in water, its a bluish tint to the water however it has made my avacado tree so beautiful. ill upload a quick video because i believe it truly grows fast and only took 3 weeks to grow from seed to start sprouting.

Florida is an arid climate? O.o
Are there any subscribers here from the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area of Florida? You should be lucky enough to be able to grow avocados outdoors at that location.
Great video
Water and toothpicks, My first one, 3 or 4 years old 7 foot now.
I've grown from seed and mine matured in a year and a half
I've grown avocado from seed in water and it worked
You can banana plants in the ground in cold Climates as far as Canada and UK I have found a technique of wrapping them with bubble wrap and never lost a cane
Awesome video for this new avacado tree owner but I'm confused on the humidity levels. I live in south texas, close to Mexico and it's 100% humidity everyday except for the 2 weeks of winter we get. Impossible to control my humity levels, so what should I do?
I think avocado trees are much more tolerant to water and humidity than you believe. They grow in several different climates here in Brazil and, as a matter of fact, you are much more likely to find them in rain forest and similar biomes that in more arid biomes. Perhaps that has to do with the cultivar, as we mostly find very large, smooth skinned avocados in Brazil. We have a huge avocado tree in the backyard that will yield avocados that are well into the range of kilograms per fruit.
Hey, I would love to get an update to see if you have been successful in getting fruit off your Avocados!!
You didnt talk about the containers at all
Can a potted avocado bear fruit?
I have a grafted avocado into a huge container hope ut fruit inro that container doing great i keep tipping it off to get busy
Avocados cannot be growth from seed. The fruit won't taste like expected. The successful ratio is 1 for every 80k seeds planted. Good luck!
Florida is arid? Aha…
Should I use that sand to soil ratio if planting the avocado in the ground?
And if so, how big should I dig the hole to provide that ratio sand:soil in the ground for my tree's permanent home?
What kind of soil are you using?
