Hey mate totally random question I'm about to get some work in this industry I've been told you can't smoke ciggarets near them or smoke at all as it kills the lettuce I was wondering if vaping has the same effect? I have been vaping for a while now to help me quit smoking, also very nice set up you have!

Luke, I am growing lettuce this exact way this year and it's going really well down in Ypsilanti! Would you say that harvesting as you go or harvesting the entire lettuce head is the better way to go? Also, what size should I let my lettuces get to before harvesting them? I want to try and plant the next round of plants so that I always have some growing. Thanks for your response!

Mine aren’t growing into heads they are growing long and wild. They’re in the same system except it’s a DWC. Plenty of light. Any idea why they aren’t growing into heads?? I have romaine, Bibb and a mix from my local farmers market.
