  1. Jess, I have the same greenhouse as you and not nearly as insulated as yours…I got a Mr. Heater BTU Vent Free from Rural King, this baby keeps my greenhouse at 80 even on the coldest days in Illinois. Good Luck!

  2. I have a heater like that. I used it in a wooden shed where I had some cats and I had to keep it on Low 60 most of the time so it wouldn't be too hot for them except when it was really cold (in the teens or lower) I'd set it for around High 60. The shed is insulated but about the same size as your greenhouse. I got one of those Acurite wireless indoor/outdoor thermometers to put out there and I get the readings indoor so I could keep track of the temperature of the shed. It was only $14.98 at a big box store.

  3. Hi Jess, I got so hooked on your videos and they’ve really inspired me so much that I’m going to try to do a balcony garden since I live in an apartment. Wish me luck. Anyhow, I just love your attitude and your family is amazing with one another. So I custom make clothing of all sorts and also do custom embroidery as well. I would love to make something for you guys, what do you think?

  4. You can also put a fan inside to help circulate the air to keep it from freezing, but when temps drop into the teens it’s so hard to keep the greenhouse warm.
We have bubble wrap insulation and use some passive heat techniques, Such as, bricks and some rocks. We are in the process of adding geo thermal for heat and cooling for our greenhouses.

  5. My thoughts on the beautiful bunting is that it is made from a indoor fabric. Light will fade it fairly quickly even if you waterproof it. I think it would look quit lovely hanging above you piano as a celebration piece to honor all the blessings of your life including faith family and friends.

  6. Blessings and smiles come from the most unexpected places. I am blue that I cannot attend the Shindig. Take lots of pictures that day, pretty please? Thank you. 🙂

  7. Not due until March! Oh. LOL. Are you going to be able to hug all the people that will want to hug you? And one more thing: You can bring the trays in. It is just for a couple of nights. You can do it. A little more work, but it is something that will need to be done. So, I know that you can do it. Love ya.

  8. Morning from Mn…. Wish we could come but we are getting pounded with snow here and like you guys we are hitting -27 here we have not had this hard of weather in years. God bless.
