Honey, what are you doing? I just watched a guy spend 2 or 3 hours pulling wood out of his garden and then cover it with a giant piece of wood. Ha ha. I'd forgotten that board trick. And have too much wood chips in my garden soil.
I have pine chips, doesn't that make the soil acidic? Should I mix lime with the soil after I sift it?
I made a sifter and love the results! Also, love the Avetts! <3
With the exception of root vegetables, you could also just lay a few inches of fresh compost Or a 50/50 blend of topsoil/compost on top the wood chips and plant into that top layer
Not exactly brilliant. I've been sieving dirt for years.
Am so interested but I can't deal with the music – sorry-
so you made a riddle? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riddle_(tool)#:~:text=A%20riddle%20is%20typically%20used,for%20seeds%20and%20early%20potting. Nice!
It's not a hobby it's a lifestyle. I love it
I do something close to this when I dig the Bermuda grass out of my wood chip mulch and save the soil for my raised beds.
I want your green house!!!
Dear sir, this is exactly what I kneeded to know how to do you have my day

I love your enthusiasm and the way you explain things. Thank you.
Nice sifter. Great looking soil. Beautiful..blessings..
2:20 Grow some White Clover, james!
you can eat it too!
I will love it if you build some pyramids and test the pyramid thing to see if plants grow better underneath a pyramid. Thanks for your videos man i love you garden and what you have done
If you add a bit of sand to the carrot seeds it helps to space them better.
Thank you. Watching you gave me confidence to make my own sieve.
I am moving soil from one area to a flower bed. I am going to soft it but the original area will have weeds. How can I make sure that my new sifted soil will not have weeds.
I enjoy your videos but the loud and hyper way you begin them detracts from that.
After the seeds in show a follow up when to apply the wood chips. Awesome
You make it so interesting that I am watching it instead of my GSW basketball game. Now I can focus on my game. I plan to plant a garden but will not be so meticulous but will use what tips I can.
Would you be able to tell my what kind of Mulberry Trees you planted in your chicken run, please?
I like your sifter….I use plastic produce boxes that come to the store from miles away which I reuse! Love sifting my compost for the seeds.
