  1. Lord willing and Mother Nature willing you are going to have a huge mess of potatoes! It's absolutely one of my favorite garden fresh foods. I look forward to it every year. It's a lot of hard work but SO worth it! 🙂

  2. I love how your face lite up when you mentioned your tractor! There are so many things a tractor can help out with. I can’t wait to get one for our place. I have so much to do with one.

  3. My eats have noticed lately…the last vestiges of an urban professional are gone. (meant as a compliment). "Bessie, our babie's pure country ; from her John Deere cap to her Red Wing boots. And she cleans up right pretty."

  4. Husband and I planted garden last year. I had to plant my potatoes the week of Valentine's bc everyone kept saying they will not produce well past that point. That must be a Georgia thing. Husband wasn't up for helping me this year. So, I got chickens. Already lost three, but still confused about what to do with all the eggs they are putting out. Two of my birds I consider rescues bc they are broilers that got away from the chicken plant by chance. I guess bc of all the hormones they were given in the past they sometimes put out double yolks. I have learned so much watching your channel. I enjoy how you keep it real and the originality put into each video.

  5. Used to live near Hiwassee Dam on the NC side. My good friend and her family live there still lol. My family is from Hanging Dog and Ebenezer. I'm now planting in McDowell County ( my daddy's WNC) I got seed potatoes in and the plants are popping up. Doing Ruth Stout method. Enjoyed watching your video!!

  6. Good to see a fellow Tennessean using this good land I call home to feed themselves. Tri-cities in east Tennessee is where I call home and we farm our land for food. Great area for morel mushrooms and wild edibles too. I hope more of our neighbors use their lands to produce food. We need to go back to the old ways of feeding our families if at all possible.

  7. Lord i give this abundant harvest to you. Please bless the harvest and triple it so that others may be blessed in JESUS holy name.AMEN!! PRAISE you Lord!!
