Very beautiful Garden my friend
So much blessings James 🙂
Where do you get your Cherry trees from I am also in jersey.
Where did you get your comfrey. Can’t find it anywhere.
4:50 what is the name of the tree
Hey James, Im a new subscriber n i really enjoy ur posts…very informative….im living in Jamaica so most of the things u grow probably wont grow here….i wud really love to grow berries tho….do u think they cud survive in my hot hot climate?
So I plan to put down 12 inches of wood chips. And add an inch or 2 to that each year. Will that work? Also, how far apart should I space my grape vines?
So many beautiful flowering fruit trees. Everything looks so healthy. I'm jealous !
I'm glad that I saw your pear tree. I was going to plant mine next to my 3 foot baby cherry tree. I didn't realize how big they get, I'll definitely give them space. I've never been able to get berries or grapes to grow. I didn't realize how big they get either. Praise God that I started watching your channel before I placed everything ♥
Hi James. I am new to your channel and wondering how big is your food forest and how many fruit trees do you have in it? We are just planning ours. How many people do you feed for the year on your garden?
just came across you. I like some of what you're doingand I took mental notes. However I noticed your video starts with like the energy of a sports/workout vlog before you seem to calm down. be aware of that. but it looks like it'll grow in nicely, goodluck
James, I'd never heard of "autumn olive" so I looked it up. Something to consider. http://www.ecosystemgardening.com/autumn-olive-and-russian-olive-on-most-hated-plants-list.html
So very impressive. Would love to see videos on care for peach trees and preventing, treating peach leaf curl if you have time or inclination. I have to chuckle when you talk about your ‘addiction’. We have such a small lot so we get multi-variety trees designed for urban spaces. We started with one and now we have 5! Thanks for the tour and all the educational vids.
did you need to plant a lot of nitrogen-fixing plants like legumes before you started with the trees?
do you grow mushrooms?
by the way the music on your videos are new to me and I look forward to each time some is played, please leave some links as to what you are playing
You should start vermicomposting.
Hello, I just found your lovely videos! Just one question so far: why do you have the Solo cups laying down along the row? Just wondering…
I’m wondering how many square feet your food forest is.
I enjoyed this video very much…your reference to how you have become connected to your garden was enlightening…i find as a new gardener attempting the "no dig method" i too have become connected in trying to process food as nature does…but not only are you and others becoming connect with the earth, your sharing of knowledge, methods and enthusiasm is connecting all humans. Masanobu Fukuoka quote is reminding us that we too are part of the balance of nature. thank you for your videos.
Where'd you go?
i love so much your garden.
And your pet so cute!
Hi James- great videos, especially nice to know all your suggestions should work for me too in N Jersey. Do you have any issues with deer jumping your fences? We have a huge population here & many neighbors say deer eat their entire garden unless we have a 7’ min fence. While a permanent fence is against code, I am looking at options to protect my young plants. Any suggestions?
Been binging your videos on lockdown. Your garden is absolutely spectacular!! You’ve inspired me to pick up gardening again minus weeding. Thanks for the inspiration ❤️❤️❤️❤️
James, I miss you, Tuck and your amazing food forest. I hope to see you come back!
I have been saving video's and noting the lessons you have learned to teach me over the winter. I mis-calculated my upper yard Sq. Ft. Actually 5,400 Sq. FT. That was all due to removing excessive IVY growth. I am talking 5 cubic Yards of Ivy!!!! Lots to learn before April Planting Season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
