  1. Hi, I do like your way of farming. But do you mind using paper cups instead of those plastic cups to start up your plants? It will be more ecologically responsible? Whilst you eat well, our friends in other parts of the world will not be suffered from all the consequences of the developed countries manufacturing and disposal of these waste, so they actually run out of food……

  2. My strawberries are eaten by pill bugs. They used to be my daughters favorite animal until she saw that.

I don't want fencing because I have a really wild patch in my garden and hedgehogs love it. Thry hardly have anywhere to go. We have neighbours cats and squirrels, no way to keep them out.
The biggerst problem is the invasive firebeetle. We didn't have them when I was a kid. Now western Europe is overrun for 3 months a year. They don't have natural enemies. I am thinking about buying a non native tree. If you mulch with that they can't reproduce. When I say every garden.is overrun I am not exaggerating. They suck out moisture from.certain plants. Apparently not zucchinis but my zucchinis were completely without moisture in serveral places in the garden last year. The ones I put in later (when the beetles went dormant again) did great.
