  1. I planted my peppers yesterday. They are very tiny compared to yours! It looks like I did it correctly — flush with the surface . I don't believe a pepper will root from the stem, and I agree that it would be more inclined to kill the plant. There are very few things that want to be planted above the topmost root. I'm actually producing that video as I type. I planted jalapeño for me and bell peppers for our guinea pig.

  2. Picked a pickle pipe of peppers. Or was it peter done what to his peppers and picked a .. Oh heck with it just pick the dang things. LMBO!! Awesome job done planting those peppers up. Yep peppers do not root from the stem like maters do. I have seen people plant peppers to deep and the stem rotted off and the plant became history! All the peppers in my hydro greenhouse are all new to us. Wanted to try something new this year and man they are looking ever so good. Watch out for that peter piper dude! I think he is smoking crack! Hey ya got it! Hot Dang!! Have a great day buddy!

  3. Definitely have to have peppers and tomatoes! I'm really interested in watching all of these grow in your straw bales – it's something I'm thinking about trying!

  4. Do you prune your pepper plants? I never have pruned mine before, but one of my cats ate the top off of one of my plants and only left 2 leaves on it, so we will see how that plays out. I live in Michigan and I never felt that I had a long enough growing season for pruning pepper plants because it takes a while for new growth on a pepper plant after it's pruned, so I never did it.

  5. We are putting bell and banana peppers in that we grew from seed. We love to pickle our banana peppers! Have to buy some starts from the nursery for some jalapeno peppers. Should have them all in the ground this weekend.

  6. We have a lot of peppers going on in our garden to name. I can tell you I am excited about the three Syrian, Bullnose, and the Purple Beauty peppers. I am ready to try the bale garden next year. Maybe just two to give my hand in it
