It’s time to get the tomato bucket system set up! I have some very large tomato starts that are begging for a new home so we transplant the tomatoes into 5 gallon buckets and get them ready for the growing season. Follow along with the series and see how I do it! Thanks for watching!

Gorgeous tomato starts!
What’s up bro how are you
Interesting setup sir!! Gonna be a lot of maters growing over there for sure!! Dan
Looking forward to seeing your bucket system growing this season. Great tip on getting the hot water out of your hose. Many have no idea how hot it gets! Another awesome how to video buddy!
Nice idea. Is there a reason you plant your tomatoes in containers instead of the ground?

I really like your set up. Ive been learning so much from you this year, I think next year will be much more successful.
Are those determinate or indeterminate tomato plants? Can you grow indeterminate plants in 5 gallon buckets?
Thanks for sharing your passion! We love cherry tomatoes and are trying a new variety of heirloom, the Chadwick Cherry. We are also excited about the Hamson Tomato .
Oppe, this looks like a great system. Thanks for the overview!

I can't wait to see this setup in action — it looks like you're going to have a zillion — possibly more — tomatoes this year!
I can see you have done that a time or two! I’m looking forward to see how they do! My favourite tomato variety is Picus, a highly disease resistant, great tasting ,F1, plum variety. I am trialing a new variety this year too called Plum Regal.

Great job Oppe. I had to teach Mrs NG and pops about the watering trick. They were looking at me weird. Have to let the hot water get cool. Great video and a lot of tomatoes. What are you going to use to keep them up? A cage or stakes?
That’s a great set up. I take it you don’t need to park in that driveway. The tomatoes must love all that radiant heat from the concrete… or does it get too hot where you are for that to be a good thing?
