Chris Nichols (#NicholsRetirementEmpire) grows a lot of okra, but personally I wouldn't know what to do with it. We get hotter summers here on the other side of the state and have plenty of clay., but I wouldn't know what to do with Okra if I grew some. Is it tasty?
Now that is how you Git-R-Done! Yes Sir if it can happen then Brew City Gardener will show you how! Gonna be some awesome okra growing on over there this year no doubt. Great job done buddy!
Nice! I liked hearing how you amended the soil to be more suitable.
Man, I LOVE me some okra. Ours were growing real good then became stagnant. I have been adding some fish emulsion and worm casting weekly to help with the growth. great video hope you will be able to grow a lot of okra up North
I bet you will have lots of Okra! We have absolutely no idea how to use Okra!
Oppe – if we could grow okra in Maine, you should be able to get some! Take care.
We had awesome okra last year, and we didn't start our seeds until the end of June. Not to brag to much but I am the reigning, defending Okra growing champion of YouTube. Check out Sampson Farms channel and get in the contest buddy.
5b here in upstate NY and my okra is well behind yours but I am hoping. My whole garden is a first for me so we'll see =] great vid
Would be greatfull if you mentioned the month or add subtitle.
very nice info sir. i will be trying okrie here in the north.
I live in Canada where we have winter weather from end of Sept to Last wk of May., and temps can go down to -40 deg C at times. I was able to plant opo and luffa gourd.
Great!! I was just wondering if it would work in cooler climates. Very helpful video, thanks!
Does Okra grow well in sandy soil? That's what I have where I live in Southern Ontario. I have a few seedlings that are starting their second set of leaves right now almost ready to transplant.
Planted Okra grown from seed in zone 5a.
HELP! My okra plants’ leaves are wilty and yellowing. I’ve tried everything! Nothing seems to work. I just got my first flower but it didn’t open. It dried and fell off. I’ve tried compost, feeding, water, and not watering. Idk what else to try. Oh and they’re in full sun and I put an organic anti disease/anti fungal on them. So idk why they’re like that. Any suggestions anyone? I’m in zone 8.
I am in zone 3b. It did good this year but the last 6….no. i am going to try to overwinter some.
