Oh my, you and I are kindred spirits. I too save seeds. In fact this is the time of year I work the most, canning, saving seeds, drying herbs, zucchini, mushrooms…..and lots more. Oh, and I have dust on my fan too, as well as dust in the rest of the house, need to mop floors….

I took your advice and ordered the Cosmos Bright Lights from Baker Creek and love , love , love them ! I have had the pink, white variety but the bright lights are special . I planted the Bonnie's Best tomatoes , starting them inside and wow they have done very well . I looked at those spindly little plants coming up and thought , nope I don't see it . Much to my surprise they became lush beauties ! I am new at gardening since we just moved to WA. state from a top a CO. mountain at 10K ft. so no gardening there . We lived there 37yrs . My garden isn't huge but so beautiful and rich with produce . I have been told I have a Green Thumb and asked what I do . I gave them my secret , I watch the University of You Tube and Pray over my garden and flower's . The Lord and I grew the garden and flower's ! Planting more than one type of seed I would say . Never grown cosmos but zinnias and sunflowers of def some of my favorites.
Now I will be trying cosmos next year.
