Hi, I recently bought a small piece of land that has little terraces up the slope at the back (1/4 acre). Is it possible to or even worth putting in small swales in some of those terraces? Are there any alternatives? It seems to be sandy soil with little to no organic matter and in a drought prone area. I'd like to be catching as much water as possible.
