VIDEO: How to Sanitize and Reset the Aerogarden to Plant a New Garden


I’m restarting my Aerogarden. Step one is to sanitize it in case there are any pathogens left from the previous grow. My new garden is the Gourmet Herb Garden seed pods with 2 types of basil, curly parsley, thyme, dill and mint. I ran out of the Aerogarden Liquid Plant food, so I substituted the Grow Big hydroponic formula from Fox Farms. Its just as good, and much less expensive. Here is the link for it on Amazon:

  1. I start my seeds using the Aerogarden then once they get big enough I put them in buckets and do the Kratky method. I find that the tomatoes even cherry tomatoes can’t stay in the Aerogarden it’s whole term…..too big.
