Are you growing Celery, Brussels sprouts, Broccoli, Cauliflower?
20 pounds looks pretty big. Edit: holy cow 24 pounds! that's pretty big
We can all harvest it!
How do you grow watermelon without the seed?
Geneva wins the weight guess. How? One-rwo pounds doubled is 24lbs.
It's hard to eat that much watermelon
16lb!
I'm in sw mi, and all the watermelons I grew last year, even though supposedly ripe, stayed at the pinkish and rather bland stage inside. I am guessing it was because August was unexpectedly cool so they didn't get as red and sweet as they otherwise should have gotten. This year I will be starting them indoors and see if that helps with the ripening timeline.
Where do you get your seeds?
I'm starting my plants in the house in old egg cartons how do I mix my dirt I'm leaving them in the house til the 100th day of the year so what do I put in each hole with my starter plants?
What stuff do I need to put in the ground while I'm tiling the soil.
Do I need to cover the plants with clear plastic after I transplant them?
How much or many times do I water them a day. I want the largest and the sweetest I'm thinking of cogngoes and maybe sugar babbies.
So cute!
I guessed 22 lbs. Seems I am the closest. Maybe I ate too much watermelons.
Omg your daughter is soooo cute!!
Was this watermelon grown with extra watering or did it just grow via your core method? Also, I had to laugh at the nod to the beans in your arbor as you walked through.

I cant say in 25 years I've been alive I've never seen someone cut a melon like that. Lol weird but smart
Congrats, MI must be really tough for growing melons. 2 main ingredients, sandy soil, full sun and nature will do the rest. Enjoyed the video.
30lds.
That's awesome that your watermelon grew that big! I just planted crimson sweet (from seeds), jubilee, and sugar baby watermelon plants. I really hope they grow really big and sweet. I'm glad your family enjoyed the watermelon.
Down south we eat big chunks and we don't pick out the seeds.
Wow, I'm good. I guessed 25lbs
