Hey Adam – I say, what a big one you've got there, fnrrrr! And those secateurs – Felco 5 Swiss I believe? Same as what I got. Brilliant cutters, especially for clearing bindweed, which is what I've mostly grown this season. Onward & upward, what?
Are you talking about Podgy? Oh my, that is a tiny Khorabi though. Never had Marrow, but they don't look near as appetizing as courgettes or even spaghetti squash. Love the pumpkin. What does one do with a 2-pound onion? Nice harvest. Thanks for sharing.
I grew a different type of onion this year. White Cajun. Short day variety. They actually worked for me & I should have put more in. You have to either freeze or dehydrate them because they have no lasting power. I dehydrated 90% of them. They only thing I have left out back is leeks (50 or so) Kale (9 or 10 plants) A few potatoes pots in the greenhouse & 6 Brussel Sprout plants for the winter. A fair year. 80 plus pounds of tomatoes. All the beans & peas were blanched, vacuum bagged & frozen. Beetroot & carrots were only fair. I have a few in for a fall crop but not expecting much. I'm starting my indoor soft greens & herb thingy this week. Hey thanx for the vid. You & I really need to get back into touch with each other.
That onion was massive mate – I'd be well happy with that! I don't like Marrow, so don't grow 'em – but 10kg is pretty good I could see you were barely able to lift those MASSIVE kohl Rabi off the table – good job you didn't put them on the scale mate 🙂 cheers Woody
That is an impressive marrow anyway, and the onion are very impressive. Take care and stay safe and stay strong my friend I'm heading to the Philippines in 12 days.
Nice size onions Adam. Marrow and pumpkin was a good size also
Take care
Cheers
Harold

That's still a decent size marrow, what are you gonna do with it?

I never heard of this before but it looks amazing! New friend Ruthie 🙂
Hi Adam. A 10kg Marrow is certainly big enough. Plenty of big onions too. Take care. Nick
