Those are the sweetest quail! I've been thinking about keeping quail, but my yard has the occasional snake and roaming cats so free range isn't entirely possible, yet I didn't think caging them would be humane. You've come up with the perfect compromise! Your quail look happy and relaxed.
How much DE do you use? Does it irritate their respiratory systems at all? I know it can for humans so was curious
