The temperatures have dropped and we are finally getting some rain! Almost feels like fall around here! The cooler temperatures and added moisture woke up our Shiitake logs. We had a nice Shiitake bloom. We also harvested our first watermelon of the season!

Hello! So I am itching to plant my fall garden but my 6ft okra are still slowly producing (south Texas), and they’re taking up the best space in my garden. When should I pull them? First year growing them, not much online about how to remove them, and what’s best to plant there next. What would you suggest?
