VIDEO: Building a New Straw Bale Lasagna Garden! – No Dig No Till Gardening

Losing the main Brew City Garden isn’t going to slow me down one bit! Today we are building a brand new straw bale lasagna garden on a piece of property donated by a fan of the Brew City Gardener channel! Watch as I haul composted straw half way across Milwaukee to provide the foundation for the new no dig no till “Secret Garden”!

  1. This just made my day buddy! I am so happy to hear you have places to have your garden. Awesome job done fixing up a no till spot over there. Warms my heart to see your local friends stepped up to make this happen. Looking forward to seeing you keeping your grow on! Hope you have a great week my friend!

  2. That is what I am planning to do once we get down to St. Mary's. I am going to add the organic material on top of the grass in the back yard. You were in Florida so this is probably the same soil (sand) as you had in N. Florida? Simply Garden said add humus to the soil. What do you think?

  3. That is awesome that you were able to find a location to continue with your garden. I was going to see if you wanted to do a collab since I am in an apartment. Wish you all the luck and success'

  4. The best decision i made is to go no dig no till. I add thick layer of compost followed by thick layer of mulch and let it sit all fall and winter. I see the greatest benefit . I don't have to water
