  1. goodness!! Bless your heart!! you had one of those mornings that at the end of the day you think, “ boy if i’d known that would’ve happened i’d have stayed in bed!!” lol!

  2. I have had one of those days. You are not alone. You're doing great under the pressure and usually trouble filled days only happen on occasion and tomorrow brings the chance for normalcy to return. You've done what you can. Get a good night's sleep. You deserve it.

  3. Dearest Lady Love sorry <3 A first time *Momma*, the natural pecking, Bless her, maybe w/ the movement, and the litle noises, she wanted to help, is all. So tho this has happened, she will do all she CAN to assist her babies. Okay she did too much xxx's to all. That is my feel of it. And *YOU*, we feel w/ *YOU*, by seeing it all, a good thing for us too. Empathy is sweet, most of the time, not all ways easy tho. Blessings to us all. Hugs.

  4. Praying for you, your family and the farm (animals and pasture) Thank you for being brave enough to share such a stressful time with us. I hope and pray the chicks are ok. God bless all, now and always

  5. Thank you for showing the bad as well as the good. I'm trying to learn all I can before just jumping into homesteading. Really love you & your channel!

  6. I hope they make it!
It's sad to say, but I had this very thing happen. And the hen killed 7. I felt like wringing her neck, but I didn't. I don't have an incubator. So many to pick from. I sincerely hope yours make it. It's heartbreaking.
    And YOU looked just fine!

  7. Oh girlllll NEVER say .. What else can happen?
    Whats next?
That is challenging the universe to whoop your butt!!! Never pray for strength or patience either.. Thats when you,re gonna get tested…

  8. I have no where near your experience, and I've had questions for you because I think you're the chicken whisperer! But if I had to guess, I'd say, being a first time momma, she heard them chirping and maybe she was trying to help the babies out of the shell? I'm sure I'm not the only one to say this.

  9. I hatched out 29 chicks this year in my own Magicfly incubator. I bought it through your affiliate link. It's been great for a beginning. I'm getting a bigger one that turns the eggs automatically for next year. I hope your babies all make it. It's not an easy time of the year to deal with brooders and babies. I'm always afraid of power outages and we don't have a generator.

  10. Oh man! It was one of those days for me yesterday. Dead hen, sick goat, issue with our son's school. All the livestock was fine the night before!
Prayers for you and your family. You are such a blessing to the YouTube community.
