Sorry about your decision that you had to make. Good luck
I had to sell my buck. It broke our hearts but he was destructive too.
Our grandsons raise goats for 4-H. They are adorable! But you always know at the end of the day, after the fair, they will be sold. (And we adults know the end result of that) It’s one of the saddest things in the world when the little things are crying as they’re loaded on the trucks. But….this is life.
You made necessary and responsible decisions. I know it was hard. But you did the right thing
Happy Holidays Cochise and Patara! smiles SafetyFirst Patara!

Hard Decisions
Listen Up
I appreciate the truthful videos, even when I don't like the truth. Learning is actually detrimental when truth is hidden.
You had to make a difficult decision. You did good!! X O
Yes, sometimes you have to go with your head instead of your heart.
It’s always hard to say good by! God bless you.
Glynny from upstate NY
Oh I just cringe when I see a dog lay down in the mud. Lol.
I must say that your Great Pyrenees is one of the most well taken care of working dogs I’ve seen in years.
Can a person have too big a heart ? of course not ; but, the bigger the heart, the more cracks of sadness occur. it's the price a caring person pays. I felt that tear from here. love ya girl.
Some people have to understand that what your say is a part of life in any situations
Love your boots. Are they Sloggers?
Sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do.
Good job! It is called animal husbandry for a reason! Smart, level headed lady!
Do you disbud yourself? Also what age do you disbud the kids?
Patara, I can tell you were about to break down at one point during video, you made the right choice. You have enough to deal with, without animals causing you more heart ache, it's not fair to you or the animals because you get mad at them. I have a question what is the best goat that is gentle, no horns. I wanted to get a goat and try milking because I am allergic to cows milk. But I am disabled and need a nice goat any suggestions?
I've have dairy goats for ten years, I totally understand. ❤
Oh whyyyy are you laying in that mud??? Dogs are silly some times.. LOL!! <3
Oh I get ya Patara, you have to do whats best, thanks for sharing.
I love your Buffs I want to add some to my flocks.
Spot on, farming is a make or break adventure. Do the right thing by your own farm/homestead
I am Doing the same with my herd, 100% right on Advice
Yes I bred my westies and had a flakey girl tell me she'd come on a Sunday to adopt then flaked out on me . # I don't like bad people.
You are a great lady who loves all her animals and knows how to make hard decisions when needed even if they hurt!
Will you still be breeding your does?
I sob when I’ve lost a chicken. I can’t imagine losing goats.
