I told her park the bloody train under cover.. She left it in the rain and now its shrunk… Its going to take weeks and weeks of work to stretch it back to full size.. Very cool all the same why didnt you go and see woody man.
Short. Sweet. and entertaining Love railways. When are you going to visit Howarth and take a look at the Worth Valley Railway in Bronte Country. Take care Mike
Gorgeous weather! I've always wanted to take that train. Have you ever been to Muncaster Castle, it's super lovely and the gardens are great, enormous rody collection and trees, but I love inside the castle.
well that brought back a few memories mate – I worked in Ravenglass for about six months around 1986/7 a particularly bitter winter. There was two pubs then the ratty arms and the Pennington arms. The last time I visited, there was only the ratty arms still open and the little butchers shop where I worked had become a sort of card/gift shop. Things change! cheers Woody

Looks like that was a lovely day out Adam. I love the Lake District. Think I’ve been on that railway about 10 years ago. Take care. Nick
Cool little train. I bet it was an enjoyable day. Wondering what they burn in the boiler to make the steam. Thanks for the view. Best wishes Bob.

Love riding that train, we do it at least once a year but try to do it during different seasons.
