Wow Awesome. I didnt know they came out with horns. Learn something new everyday! Thanks Patara!
I so look forward to watching your videos. Love seeing what's happening on your farm. Good thoughts through your move.
So sad. Nature knows what's best but it's just heartbreaking to lose babies.
Enjoyed it!!
Great video! Did I really see a forsythia bloom!? Wow, come on spring!
You're deep care and love for your animals is the reason you're the only homesteader I follow. Thank you for sharing and for setting such a wonderful example.
Sorry for your loss but let's celebrate the other young kids that made it. Happy moving!
Old veterinary books are great if you can get your hands on them and old remedy books they are priceless, many times they saved us from disaster so if you’re new to homesteading you might want to put them on your list of must haves.
Experience is the best teacher. Sorry about losing all those babies. Such a heartbreak.
Patara, you are so careful, and just fantastic with animal husbandry. It happens to the best of us. Peace.
So excited for you all! Wish we were closer and could help!
Sorry for your loss.
Farming is not for the week; for ever great moment there will be disappointment.
Wishing your family well,, be blessed!
GOD BLESS, PRAYING FOR YOU & Y'ALL TAKE CARE.
One of the many hardships of raising your own animals! I’m always excited but very nervous about all our sheep births. It’s hard to not be constantly on watch when you know they’re getting close
Congrats on the move!
Well at first I thought you were gonna band the cat. ha ha
God bless you and thank you for your honesty and transparency.
Absolutely.. and why I believe animals should be on every school campus (private or public). gardens.. real every day basick skills and life lessons. Thanks Patara.
I know how you feel. I had 2 mommas give birth this weekend. 1 momma gave birth to a baby boy. We didn't even know she was bred. She didn't show any signs and never got big. Our 2nd momma is a small Nigerian and she had 4 girls last night. We watched momma and the kids and thought everything was going well. Momma tended to 2 of the girls well. The other two… not so much. Now we are keeping the 2 in the house trying to save them. It doesn't look good, but we can't just give up on them, even though we know what the likelyhood is of their survival. Being goat parents is tough.
Hi Patara, always good to see ya, don't stress out girl, it will all get done, we know you! 🙂 Sorry for the sad news, that hurts. So glad the others were all ok.
So sorry for the loss. I know sometimes things happen and it hurts. Thank you for sharing! I hope your move goes well!!
So sad. It happens to everyone that breeds animals.
Do you use your goats for milk or meat or both?
Life lessons are so hard sometimes . …but we never forget them .
