  1. Pew pew pew!! This is awesome!! lmao If this is the only way I will ever get my teen son to watch homesteading videos, then I am going to use your new gig as a bribe!!! He will love it. Total geek!

  2. Hey Miah, good to see you rocking this live alone, just accept it: you have lots to tell us and teach us too ๐Ÿ˜‰
So cool that you are aiming for the Joel Salatin style of farming! The term you used, reminded me of Richard Perkins's book "Regenerative Agriculture". I still didn't finish it completely, it's so jam packed full of information, I LOVE it!
One day I would love to follow in his footsteps too… or Joel Salatin's… or Sepp Holzer's, for that matter. Brilliant people who give us the good examples to learn from. Just setting up a big piece of land like it's supposed to be, with all kinds of ponds, terraces, trees, animals, foodcrops, rocks… making it a balanced and beautiful piece of living art… and yield all kinds of produce and food from it in the meantime… sounds completely like attending the Garden of Eden, as us people were made for doing. (sorry, geeking out here <3 )

O I so need to find a part-time job to pay for next year's shindig… I did look into going this year, but I don't have the money, I am one of the best singers in a concert the 4th and our 3rd daughter has her birthday the 5th of April… so God is not working with me in this one, so I'm not able to come. But next year, is a whole new opportunity… I better start saving. So totally want to see all of you homesteaders and youtubers! So want to HUG you all <3

We all love the drone footage, don't worry if it virtually looks the same to you, we don't see it every day ๐Ÿ˜‰
Yey! I will be totally on your nerd-side, Miah! So here's already a subscriber ๐Ÿ˜€
And yes, with you on the tomatoes too… although I never tasted homegrown tomatoes, so I probably exchange the disappointment for something so much better, that I think it might become a constant in our little community garden… IF I get it to grow in my country… since I don't have a greenhouse…

Looking out for what you come up with on your homestead! And of course on the nerd-channel ๐Ÿ˜‰
    I bless you too
    Love from The Netherlands/Holland,

  3. Once you do start making your own sausage getting a sausage stuffer will save you some serous time. It is a project your can get the kids involved with. It was one of my favorite memories as a kid. I did try to use the Kitchen Aid attachments but stuffer was 10x's faster.

  4. Miah, check out Al from Lumnah acres they have a playlist for their "Post and Beam Barn kit" videos from Jamaica Cottages that him and his wife installed. It's awesome with a lean to on each side.

  5. Thanks to both of you for this channel. I just moved into a new home almost 2 years ago and have been wanting to plant a garden. You guys have been my saving grace. So glad you guys live in the same planting zone. I'm in Southeastern NC
