Hey guys, Good Idea. I have 40 acres of trees (mix of deciduous and conifers ) I think I will try this with maple, I have a ton of them. Maybe we can become Facebook friends so we can chat and share ideas ?
I love this idea! So many times when someone needs to clear a piece of land the small-diameter trees are usually just cast aside, chipped, or used for firewood which is good too if you use it up. I'm all for repurposing, and you here show a great use for those small-diameter trees. I will keep this in mind when I have to clear a small section for my cabin!!
