I'm ready to build roots and refuge inspired raised beds to replace my 7 yr old beds that are deteriorating. I bartered metal last year for baked goods…SCORE! My question …is the edge of the metal sharp? Is there something I should do to cover or deal the edges?
It's (the cottage garden with rosebush arbor) gorgeous! If you plant oregano, basil, marigolds and nasturtiums throughout your squash bed it will help to repel squash bugs. Plant borage, marigolds and basil throughout your tomato beds to repel hornworms. Petunias help with the hornworms and aphids.
Wow, that's incredibly beautiful!
wow u r sooo humble…
Jess where do you put all this food?!
Harvest tours would be fun. What are you harvesting each week and maybe an idea or two of what you're doing with it(:
Do you have specific reasons to want to move? Climate? Taxes? Space"? A change of pace vacation?
My angels seem determined to keep me here in Arky. Very low rural taxes. Property paid for. Temperate climate.
Love affair with nature. Of course, there are challenges. Are you feeling a bit hog-tied in having to care for the animals? Or thinking selling will bring a good amount of money?
Remember that the Covid PLANNERS are not done yet. Don't take the EXPERIMENTAL "vaccine" foisted in the name of Covid….with two agendas…money & depopulation. Just keep munching from your gardens.
I could count your blessings, but I'm sure you already know them.
Jess, You are really bad for my Amazon addiction! Every time I watch a video, I put more seeds on my wishlist! LMAO Love the videos, girl; keep on growing! Zanna
Are you growing corn or fruit trees I didn't see any of those in your garden tour and it's so amazing and I know this that you said that you use all pack of manure that it can be used right away can you tell us more about what you do use it on thank you
What is the purpose of the tires hanging around the garden? Do you have holes in them so they don't hold water? We have lots of mosquitos here, it would think it would be a breeding ground for mosquitos.
Amazing! Now at 69 my body can't fit with my imagination. Enjoy!
Kiddie pool full if strawberries! YOU ARE A GENIUS! I was trying to figure out what to do with my kidsie pool raised bed!
Love your gardens
I love watching Monte Don's Fork to fork.
Actually watching this now (mid March 2021) just to get my garden fix and think about where I need to be and if I've gotten to start any plants!
Thank you for your videos! I am in zone 7a, Tulsa Oklahoma. Your videos have Inspired me to start my own urban garden. Your weekly garden tours have been extremely helpful for getting ideas and understanding the timings of so many different vegetables. I enjoy your longer garden tours, butI also value your shorter single skill/subject videos. I am a baby gardener, looking to eventually having food security for my family.
Love your videos! Who cares on the length when you get quality information! We watch every video you share!
Do you cats poop in your gardens? Is it a problem if they do? We have a ton of cats next door >.< plus our 2 cats
"Don't let best deter you from good and done" – I love that comment and truly enjoy your videos! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for your video and for sharing the information about the Wartime Kitchen and Garden (link to the 1st of 8 episodes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLBRK5Tf1I4).
Where did you get the green house?
They are very tasty! Its said if you cook them well the gas is minimal if not gone! Very nutritious and my favorite!
Your channel has inspired me to start off small and grown our garden. I am a renter here in NYC so I have so far had three different gardens. Practice for my permanent garden we will build once we arrive in our new home of jGA Bulluck county. Thanks for all your hard work I appreciate you
