  1. In case you want to know, the shard you found is glazed. Cherokee potters I talked to pit fired their clay pot and did not glaze the pots. From what I found was Cherokee NC area did not have clay to make pottery. They went to the Catawba Nation in SC to get their clay in the past. I did research at USC on the Cherokee basket makers and potters along with the Catawba potters.

  2. We've been watching your channel for sometime now and love you because you are genuine and wish you were our neighbor so we could visit and learn even more. On a previous video (maybe three years ago) you talked about "Perma-Guard" Diatomaceous Earth which you buy in 50 pound bags from either your local co-op or on Amazon. When we search on Amazon there are several listings for this product in the 50 lb. size bags and they range from about $32.00 to $75.00, but the descriptions are the same. Don't seem to be a difference, but the large range of pricing is throwing us off. We use it for our chickens feed and in the coop. However, we are interested in using it for human consumption and need to be certain we are ordering the correct one. Can should help us determine which one is the best, correct one for human consumption? Love your new farm !!

  3. Lucky duck finding treasures in your garden. We asked our neighbor to extend our garden onto his property and he gave us permission. We find lots of thick glass, nails, metal and what not but nothing fun like you found. lol Can't wait to get our cattle panel arch up, hopefully tomorrow. 🙂

  4. Hi there Patara, My husband and I would like to do this in our veggie garden and we were wondering if you might tell us the length of your cattle panels ? What a great idea. Thank you.
