Hey Miah how far apart do you screw the 1 and 5/8 screws into the tin?
Thanks Miah, we had the wood delivered today for our new raised beds, very helpful vlog.
Oh Boy they look so good – which is important, also! Straight – WOW. Look like a magazine pic.
Reminds me of being a kid helping build things with my dad fences animal pens and coops tree houses and the like we use to garden when I was bens age but stopped for some reason it that because we had roaming chickens we couldn’t keep them out of the garden or it was just to much work when both parents worked during the day
Do u put a metal post at every upright?
Great video, Miah! Can't wait to see all the bounty you guys get out of this high tunnel!
Excellent information Miah. Thanks for the tutorial. This saves us other gardeners some trial & error. Really like the adjustments.. Thanks for sharing. God Bless
This is a great guide. It's nice to learn about how you're developing the land after you bought it. We're going to start sending our customers to this video so they can learn more about what it takes to develop their own land.
Do you add red wigglers to your raised beds since there is landscape fabric underneath? I have contamiated soil so I have to line the under side of my raised beds to keep my clean soil seperated. I was curious if that was something I would have to do to create a healthy environment for my garden.
Hello, why was the metal pole added to each cedar post? What would happen if the posts were not added to the project? Thanks!

Thank you!
It's looking great guys.

: HOW MUCH OF WIND CAN THIS STRUCTURE WITHSTAND?
If you wanted/needed a row cover for the winter garden, could you use PVC in the metal posts that you drove into the ground to support them?
I've got to get the raised built first! This all in ground hand digging grass is killing me plus you can't amend well inground. I have sandy soil! I've got one hose spicket, no drip hopes so I have no choice but to water over head. Cost a fortune in water and 3 hours of me standing with a hose. Doing everything myself so it gets overwhelming
Thank you Miah. I just watched the video on the first beds you made. These beds look better i think, and process looks much more streamlined. And no concrete!
Nice learned how to make bed – was quite scared on how to do it. Thanks.
Fantastic job AND explanation. Thank you for sharing what you are learning as you go. I just sent this to my son, who (I hope) is going to be building me my first raised bed soon. 🙂
I know this video is a few months old, but I am stealing your idea. I have been putting off building beds in our (almost) completed greenhouse because I just did not have the money for any of the other ways I have seen. Thank You so much for sharing this, it will make it possible for us to build affordable beds now.. BTW were just up the road from yall in Mountain View. My wife and I have really enjoyed following along on your journey.
Nice job I’m going to make some like yours
Defiantly using the inch and a half end gap next week in my new bed build , last weeks build was just like you said , a real pain to fit the metal at the ends , super helpful thank you
Thank you for showing et discussing your errors
Excellent design generally requires several iterations
I wanted to say thanks! I built our first Bed per your specs and it turned out great! we're building 4 more…Thanks Miah and Jess!
Thank you
You present better than you think you do, just thought I would share as so just in case
I am beginning to collect materials for these beds and my father in law insists that the metal will rot/rust away after just a couple of years (we do live in Canada with hard freezes, not sure if that would make the difference.) Have you guys had any problems with the tin breaking down over time?
THAT LOOKS LIKE THE WAY TO DO IT.
