  1. You don't have to use beer for slugs if you're not a drinker. Just mix yeast with water since the slugs like the yeast in the beer. Ladybugs are wonderful too!! Blessings

  2. Have I missed what you have said what you "spray" your tomato plants eith for pests? Thank you in advance,!

Im new and really enjoy your channel and have posted you on Facebook. Especially happy to know youre a believer – and can recommend watching even to my young grandkids!

  3. If you can get an orange or orange peels and lay them where you can pick them back up. Ants will stay away from it. I’ve used it for years. You can use orange oil or anything like orange peels inside your home and remove ants with that too just place it in the path or bed of an ant bed and they will go away

  4. I just bought Neem oil but I have been afraid that it will kill my good bugs too? Is that true?
Can you talk about planting flowers and herbs that can help attract the good bugs?

  5. Borax / water/ sugar will kill ants. Organic is the only way to go. (a person close to me died of adenocarcinoma of the stomach) Yes please — do a video on your pest control

  6. Hey Jes, what garden hose do you use or recommend that’s drinking water safe? I’ve purchased the RV hose but it’s had weak walls causing bulging and or they’ve broken at the tip too easily. Looking forward to your more detailed video on the pest control you use in your garden.

  7. ANTS! I forget where I heard this but a Borax/Sugar/Water mix to a (wet) sand castle consistency dribbled at their mound (gotta find the mound) is a good eliminator. They take it directly back into the nest and bam. Hope that proves helpful.

  8. Does Jess have a list of plants she grows somewhere? I watch so many of her videos and she has so many varieties I want to try but I can't remember all of them

  9. Row covers are a great way to keep pests off plants that don't need pollinators, including cole crops & eggplants. Most vegetables are actually open pollinated.
We're planning to grow our tomatoes, peppers, okra, cole crops, & even squash under ag netting. We'll have to hand polinate the squash & zucchini, but it's less time consuming than picking nasty squash bugs & their eggs off several times a day; not to mention the vine borers. Of course, there's only two of us, & we only have three 4 ft x 10 ft beds to tend, not a huge farm, like you have. I really enjoy watching your videos. They always brighten my day.

  10. Just want to share a good tip. If you get stung by bees/wasps or bit by ants, Soak a rag in Collodial Silver and wrap the affected area. It’ll take away the pain and swelling. U can buy it cheap at Walmart, silver Biotics brand is $20 for 16 oz. even better, buy a brewer. Then you only pay $1 for a gallon of distilled water to use to brew it. U can use on all the animals as well. It’s a natural anti viral, anti bacterial and anti fungal. If u need a good resource, check out Collodial Silver for Beginners FB group and The Natural Health Library. Also putting some in vase with your cut flowers will let them live 2-3 weeks longer.
