  1. I feel you on the weather! We deal with the same thing here in Alabama…and the humidity afterwards…Lord have mercy…. Love the name for the new buck BTW. 🙂

  2. Newt is really cute! It's a great idea to get him friend, rabbits are social animala that normally live in groups, so they do get lonely without a mate. When finding him a friend, I do recommend going to a place where they can make rabbit couples. Not all rabbits want to live with each other. I went to a local shelter when you can tell them with which rabbits you would like your rabbit to "date" so that if it doesn't click with the first one, they'll try the next. Also, 2 rabbits of the same sex generally will fight. So you'll be looking for a female (the female is generally the dominant one). But then of course if you don't want more rabbits, you should have them visit a vet 😉
Good luck! I really enjoy your videos and the joy that radiates from you while in the garden 🙂

  3. Mel Solomon agree 100% make sure your bunny is fixed and the buddy as well. You will have to play the bunny dating game because they are like people. Not all rabbits get along and they CAN kill eachother or seriously wound eachother on the lighter scale. Please, contact a rabbit rescue for bonding assistance and spaying/neutering help and other things.

  4. For anyone on a larger scale the eglu as shown (but the version for hens) makes a good broody coop as you can remove the roosts while the chicks are young and then add them back in as they get older. before introducing them into your main flock.

  5. In case you haven’t, and for viewers checking out the comments. Don’t forget to have the new goat tested 🙂 (For CL, TB, CAE, and Johnne’s)

  6. I have wild rabbits in my yard and my Chihuahua will lie on the lawn for hours and watch them eat the clover. The don't bother my veggies and other plants in the garden.

  7. Always love seeing what y’all are up to! Can’t wait to have more space and our own property some day!! For now just learning in our current space and as always am so inspired by your crew. Thanks!

  8. I love the Omlet products. I use the rabbit version you have as my broody coop, it's currently occupied with a broody bantam rhode Island Red, sitting beautifully on her eggs.
I also have the Omlet cube for my layers as I don't have much space, it fits in my garden perfectly.

  9. I love giving bunnies outdoor time but please please PLEASE be careful keeping your pet rabbit outdoors. I kept pet rabbits outside in similar cages and predators will do ANYTHING to get in those cages and it traumatized me as a kid, having rabbit after rabbit being killed and has traumatized me from ever having a pet rabbit again. Please do not keep him in that cage at night ❤️

  10. As many many others have warned, Newt needs to be an inside bun (or perhaps rehomed to a family that wants to keep him indoors if that's not possible anymore). Outside fun run time might be ok but there are so many issues with keeping a house bun outdoors (especially in your weather). One thing I didn't see mentioned in comments, any wire undercarriage, like on this cage, can cause feet issues and sores for buns. This vid actually made me sad.
