Careful with the lilies! Every part is extremely toxic to dogs and especially cats, especially the pollen because it can get on their fur just from wind or movement. It is rare for them to recover from any lily poisoning, it usually results in death!
Howdy from the Texas / Arkansas Border! I just got my dehydrator. Also a water bath canner to go with my new pressure canner. I am learning to can.
with the big zuchinni's we usually slice and bread and fry, like fried green tomatoes , so good
Can you do a video on how to tell if veggies have been pollinated or not? I can't tell with some of my zucchini and cucumbers.
Hi Jess from New Zealand, we are in the middle of winter atm & lm so loving your videos! Binge watching & planning my garden while waiting for spring.

I live in 5a in Colorado, any sugestions on tommatos or veggies for my area, it gets hot quick here
Thank you so much for what you do and for sharing it with us. I didn't grow up gardening my mom has a black thumb and a window sill of dying plants that we lovingly refer to as death row. In the past 2 years I have started building a garden here on our land (southern Louisiana on the border of zone 8b and 9)and your videos have been so amazingly helpful not just with the information you provide about gardening but also in how to deal with failures it the garden, and finding the motivation to keep growing and trying new things. I have expanded my garden 3 times so far and just wanted to thank you for all that you do.
Thank you Jess!!!
I'm a fairly new subscribed but your videos have been bringing me so much joy and relaxation!
I am a newbie gardner growing vegetables in containers. I live in Savannah and dealing with 4-6 days of rain followed by a week of 95 degree temperatures with heat indexes into 105+. My tomatoes have been cracking and I am using a shade cloth. Found you by the Rusted Garden guy. I love your farm and thank you for sharing your homestead! Have you ever thought of writing a cookbook?
They’re a hot pink bean and I think that’s cool! I love your outlook! Thanks for helping me learn.
Use that neem oil for the powdery mildew! It is expensive to buy but it goes a long way and is totally organic
My husband said if there is a faint skunk smell it could be a copperhead snake
Would it be worth our while to even try transplanting if direct sewing does so much better? What's your honest opinion?
