  1. Adam do you know that you have to have a male and femail to get fruit, I had 2 which were here already here, they grew about 30ft. up into the tall conifers, we had to cut them down with a chain saw

  2. Thats great man . I tried last year off a fruit that was grown here but failed maybe didnt leave them long enough.. I might have to try again. Wondering if some are damping off. Hope they make it I think they will 😉 Great stuff mate. I might have to try again 😉
    Cheers.

  3. Hi Adam, very interesting watching the progress of your kiwi experiment. Looking through my old gardening books, it would seem that the species chinensis is the one to grow in this country (UK) due to it being hardy. It produces a golden fruit. However most kiwifruit sold in supermarkets appear to belong to a few cultivars of the species deliciousa, which, apparently, is not hardy. I suppose there is only one way to find out! Good luck with your endeavour.

  5. I sprout my bird seed that way. It's an amazing method. I'm getting ready to try kiwi seeds for the first time. I might freeze them first, then start in the fall. Thank you for this video.
