I've been eagerly awaiting my first tomato to ripen here in the south of the UK. I thought this weekend would have been the day(s), and went down to the garden yesterday … only to discover that my dog has eaten it straight from the plant…he's also been helping himself to strawberries and apples straight from our tree.
