With a history of over 125 years, the largest animal market in Belgium still stands the test of time. Every Sunday morning, this tradition rich market attracts hundreds of visitors from home and abroad. The locals from the township of Mol refer to this market as the “rabbit market”, but as you are about to discover, this place offers so much more to the public: birds, chicks, chickens and roosters of every breed, size and color variety, geese, ducks, nandu birds, a diverse variety of poultry, fish, rodents, and ofcourse… rabbits. Met een geschiedenis van meer dan 125 jaar doorstaat de grootste dierenmarkt van België nog steeds de tand des tijds. Elke zondagochtend trekt deze traditierijke markt honderden bezoekers uit binnen- en buitenland. De lokale bevolking uit Mol refereert naar deze markt als de “konijnenmarkt”, maar zoals u op het punt staat te ontdekken, biedt deze plek zoveel meer voor het publiek: vogels, kuikens, kippen en hanen van elk ras, elke soort en kleurvariëteit, ganzen, eenden, nandu vogels, een immens grote verscheidenheid aan pluimvee, vissen klein en groot, knaagdieren en natuurlijk .. konijnen.
