So excited for you!! Oh dear, the saga of hens & chicks 🙂 That’s me right now and I could use some direction. Mama hen & 5 chicks are in a little nursery pen in the chicken yard. When the large flock is out and around the nursery pen, mama acts like she wants to join them. Her babies are 6 weeks. Is it time, and how? Will it be too much for her to shield her babies and protect herself at the same time? I expect there will be some jockeying for position again. There’s a rooster in the main flock.

OMG Sis and I just did the same thing last week, but add 3 outdoor cats to the mix. Only 6 of our mommas babies hatched and it took us a lot longer to catch them but was pretty hilarious trying to catch them all, Just found your channel from Ann's Tiny Life. Following along 🙂
