Thank You for sharing, looks like I will start planting garlic.
Can you not plant the cloves from the grocery?
Great efforts…as usual…!! Your channel is a true learning avenue. Keep instructing.
Do you water them like any other crop? or just plant and forget about them and let the weather water them ?
Perhaps plant half from grocery, half from mail order like Burpee and see if any difference….
Love your videos .. so do you think we can use store bought garlic to plant ? Also how do we know without digging one up that it’s ready for harvest ?
Just love your videos! Thanks so much
Hi. First let me tell you how much I enjoy your channel. It is interesting and informative. I have a question for you. I am setting up a Kratky system in a 4 inch PVC pipe. I'm almost ready to start but one question remains. How deep should the nutrient solution be to not drown the roots but have enough to nourish them? I am using 2 inch net pots. Thank you. Bruce
Great video! At the grocery store sometimes the garlic is grown in China… Maybe an upscale grocery store will have organic bulbs.
I had some old pieces leftover in the vegetable drawer in the fridge and planted them. About half of them made plants and actually produced some worthwhile bulbs. Pretty good for stuff that would have been thrown out
Once you harvested the garlic in June, what did you plant in that space? Cucumbers again?
Did you at least try to plant some supermarket garlic?……16$ for 4 bulbs sounds like robbery.
I learn a lot from you either way ………Thanks for these educational videos
I am surprised you didn't harvest the garlic scapes! They are great to chop up and add to soups and stews like green onions or ramps. A great video ! Thanks!
