  1. Ugh, I am SO guilty of leaving my tools out. I'm really glad you made a video of how to revitalize garden tools. I am curious though, would this method work for a chain saw?

  2. I retired May 1st with great plans for gardening, then broke my toe. So, while the weeds grow, I'll clean my tools! Going to go look for a sharpening video now. Thanks!

  3. Why use the salt? Why not the vinegar on its own? And just rinse in water and not neutralise with baking soda? Just wash away with water. Great tip with 3 in 1 oil.

  4. Great ideas. Loving all your instruction.

I’m a bit lazy. Warm the vinegar first to almost boiling. Put the tool in. Within two hours, easiest cleaning. A little rubbing on tough parts. Just warm vinegar again and put back in for another hour. Wipe clean.

  5. Great tips. The vinegar and salt solution worked brilliantly on my old and neglected tools. Love the channel and always come away feeling inspired, more positive and re-motivated to get straight out in the garden. Thank you.

  6. Very usefull i leave my tools outside some occasionally never heard of mix of vinegar will try it i have shears to tackle with can u suggest best sharpning stone please thanks bless

  7. ive been using sand paper then cleaning and using spray oil from the kitchen…it doesnt keep them rust free. i would not use wd40 or a toxic lubricant, i dont want it touching my organic veggies

  8. Everybody leaves them out once in a while, I laughed when I saw you drop your nice super clean Felco Secateurs lol nice work dude love your videos my friend 🙂 I recently quit teaching to become a market gardener, and find your stuff and charles dowding's no dig stuff the best 🙂 thankyou
