The farm is still producing all the summer abundance! Tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, cut flowers! There is still so much for coming out of the farm. And we also have laid the groundwork for a strong fall season selling at our local farmers market, with carrots, kale, beets and greens. But we are tired, very tired, and it is slowing us down mentally. Join us as we stumble our way through our September farm and garden tour on this dark and smoky day.
People have been asking for the recipe for the habanero garlic salt – heres how I made it.
50% garlic, 50% salt, hot peppers to taste. Chop it all into a paste in the food processor and then spread on parchment to dry in the dehydrator. When dry (mine took 48 hours) powder in a food processor (do it outside with a mask so you dont breath in chili powder and pepper spray yourself) or put chunks in a grinder.
