Oh my. I can’t take pumpkin smells.
Hands in hair while fixing food is a no no.
Thank you for bone broth tips! I love your kitchen! I was wondering if you know the size of your kitchen sink and where did you get it?
You don't consume the seeds? They are full of nutrients! roast them with a sprinkle of salt
As a spinner, I am so happy to see you trying it! I am actually watching this video while spinning myself. I watch many of your videos while spinning or knitting. I have been waiting for this video ever since you got your alpaca!
I learned from a distributor of food, that what we get in the can is a kind of squash, not an actual pumpkin
You are such a bubbly special person, love watching you, love your kitchen!!, we just remodeled our whole house and now we are selling and moving to Missouri.. we must be crazy, we live in a Forest in Florida.. we are under an acre. We are wanting up to 10 acres.. but the houses on them are just , here we go again!!..so maybe by the time I'm 70 we will have it all fixed up as soon as we find THE one! Enjoying your videos, I found you through Living traditions homestead, when you went there! I'll be watching and thank you!!
Canned pumpkin is hubbard squash, not pumpkin, not all but I believe Libby "pumpkin" is squash!!! LOL
When I roast our pie pumpkins I toss some cubed butter and spices into the pumpkin before putting them fave up in the oven. Then I will catch my husband and kids just scooping out the roasted insides while they are cooling.
My wife does this with pumpkins but what she does is peel them like a rutabaga and does it in the oven this way when you take it out there’s no having to handle hit pumpkins
What kind of baking sheets are you using and where can they be found? I have seen you use them a few times and they seem amazing. Thanks!
That sweatshirt is fabulous
Your smile is magical
Oh good! Now I know someone who can help me deal with appliance issues lol
I need all of your pumpkin recipes and I need your tomato sauce canning recipe/method.
Hi, Jess! I've got interesting experience with squash this year I'd like to share: I grew some pattipans (pattisons) from seeds coming from seed company and they grew nicely, produced good crom, so made me happy; I also tried to plant a marrow plant made from seeds I scooped out from the marrow I got at the supermarket last year and it grew well, produced about 10 large marrows out of one plant, so I'm pleased (it wasn't organic or obtained in specialty shop, just a regular supermarket); I tried the same trick with seeds from shop bought butternut squash and it surprised me by producing a ginormous plants, happy to climb on a trellis, growing like crazy, had to trim it several times within a season and then it produced around 10 fruit that would only grow up to the size of 1 inch, wilt and fall off. So no crop at all. I was an interesting lesson to me, to find out that there are some random veg You can plant from seeds obtained cheaply, but some of them can be an utter failure and You need to be prepared for it if experimenting kind of crazy like that. I grow my veg on an 100 sq.m. allotment in UK (zone 11), so luckily my survival doesn't depend on how much I grow, therefore I can play around and experiment. Thanks for Your videos, I find them very informative and inspirational, even though we grow in different countries. Take care!
i know how you feel I didn't have an oven for 6 months before the landlord decided to fix it and it is the main way we cook! So happy your kitchen is fixed, happy holidays
Where did you get your stoneware baking trays?
Just pre-ordered your book at Target! So excited!
Love that thumbnail pic!!!
A couple of years ago I grew some gigantic pumpkins from commercially grown ones
I make my pumpkin pies out of butternut squash. It's sweeter, orange-er, less watery, and great tasting! People always love my "secret ingredient".
That’s for sure the most heart turnip cup a’ I’ve ever seen
