I’ve attempted to grow mushrooms before using a mushroom growing kit with very little success. In this video I tried growing Oyster Mushrooms, again using a mushroom growing kit, and had really good results. If you’ve never tried this before, give it a go… it worked for me and I’m sure it’ll work for you too.

Outstanding result, Adam. Well done you. So what would you estimate was the average ambient temperature in that location over the six days? I'm guessing temperature has a lot to do with it.?

Hi Adam, A successful crop of mushrooms and your glowing account of Merryhill Mushrooms should do their sales of growing kits no end of good! Certainly a better yield of mushrooms than I had when I tried a mushroom growing kit from Wilco a couple of years ago. They were only cup mushrooms, a bit of fun, but rather disappointing. Maybe I'll give Merryhill a go!
