Nice one Adam
I will be lifting mine probably tomorrow apparently we have frosts forecast for Thursday onwards of this week. I had a pretty good display this year with them !
Best wishes
Tim
So with those big fellas….how many new plants could you get thru division? No clue where I'd store the darn things but will give them a go one of these years:))
Good evening Adam. I'm glad we live in an area that we do not need to dig up our tubers and over winter them inside. It is great information for those that do. Best wishes Bob.
US forces raided head Q Dominion ,Frankfurt.
Thanks for sharing the winterizing of the tubers Adam.
Take care my friend

Hi Adam, A trio of dahlias to be proud of. Very dependable to give a welcome display of colour in late summer. As a garden apprentice I was taught to dust the tubers with flowers of sulphur to prevent fungal infection during their winter storage.
Hi Adam, I guess I'm lucky here i just leave my dahlias in the ground over winter. I would suggest you label them with tape so you remember which ones they are next year. Cheers -Keith
i never bother to dig mine up they stay in the ground all year

Oh good… You make it seem so much simpler than how they talk about it online. Will this work for Cala lillies and such?
My first Dahlias were small potted plants, they died back and came straight up again but we did have a very mild winter last year. This year I cut them down in Nov, mulched them and put them in the mini greenhouse with labels, weve had a bad winter this year so I'm glad I did it. Hope they spring back again.
