  1. Gabriel, your mama MAY know this, but a little trick when using cooking spray – do your spraying over the sink – you keep the mess off the counter and the sink will be cleaned before bedtime anyway, so it's a win-win. I have a grandson that has begun to cook also, he makes awesome bread and pizza (so far). Keep the cooking vids coming!

  2. Thank you for making such honest and transparent videos, Patara! No one else does it quite like you do. Thank you! So many videos are so sanitized and phoney baloney. You two are adorable.

  3. I am trying your cake recipe today 🙂 It looks so yummy! I love your recipes. We are doing a dinner for my mil and I think she will love this so much! Ty for all your videos! What a great kiddo too!

  4. My goodness is he handsome boy and he looks just like mom wow can’t deny that little man can you I shouldn’t call him little he’s taller than you are honey that’s like my son he’s taller than me

  5. I always put a cake pan in the sink to spray it with oil. Also I usually dust the pan with a bit of flour and when the cake is done I slide a small flexable spatula down the sides and the neck to make sure nothing is stuck. Everbody has a mistake now & then. It looks great! Gonna try and make one! ❤

  6. I don’t blame Gabriel for the cake sticking. I blame the spray…using it instead of butter and sprinkling flour inside, too. I only ever purchased one can of spray. It may work for some things, but I butter and flour all my cake pans. Also, the cake might have been too warm. Bundt pans, having the ridges and crevices, can cause some sticking difficulty, too.

You are doing Gabriel a huge favor, teaching him to bake and to cook, take care of eggs in chick incubators, feed the chickens and more!. He has assumed lots of responsibility and probably even more than we know about. You are teaching Gabriel how to do many things, but more than that, he’s learning survival skills! Love his smile! I suppose I must be partial to boys, having a son, son-in-law, and two grandsons! (My daughter says she loves having all guys in her family)!
My son likes to cook, especially grilling, smoking, and deep-frying meats. (Learned those from his dad). He would climb onto the counter when he was a little guy, in order to help me make pizzas and cut-out cookies!
    You did GREAT, Gabriel!
