VIDEO: Step By Step Focaccia Recipe – Mouthwatering AND Easy!


This recipe comes out perfect every time, enjoy!
For the dough you need just 6 ingredients:
4 ½ cups of all purpose flour
1 tbsp Kosher Salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 cups warm water around 80 degrees Fahrenheit
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
And 2 ½ teaspoons or 1 package of dry yeast
1. Proof the yeast by combining with 1 tbsp of sugar and 1 cup of warm water
2. Once you are sure the yeast is active/alive, start by mixing the dry ingredients, mix the flour, the remaining sugar and salt together.
3. Make a well in the center and pour in the liquid ingredients, the remaining cup of water, oil, and the yeast mixture.
4. Mix the dry into the wet ingredients and keep mixing and kneading until the dough is nice and smooth.
5. Cover the dough and set aside in a warm place to rise for an hour.
6. Uncover the risen dough, knead a little bit, and then set aside for a second rise, also 1 hour
7. Now its time to shape the dough into a 9 by 13 baking pan that has been well oiled. Focaccia loves oil. Once its shaped, cover and set aside to rise again for an hour
8. Now your dough should be about double in size with nice air bubbles. Top with your favorite toppings, dimple with your fingers, and drizzle with oil.
9. Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  1. Thanks for this super video, I'm definitely going to try this. I've been afraid to use rosemary leaves because I thought they might taste like little sticks (I've only used the ground rosemary) but it does look pretty on the bread!
