In this short video I discuss whether or not to prune Tiny Tim. This is a small container variety of tomato, and I am growing it hydroponically indoors using the Kratky method, and DWC, or Deep Water Culture method. I will put out a longer video documenting the growth from seed to harvest once the tomatoes are ripe….that way I can do a taste test as well!
Thanks for watching!
Looking good Tiki
Can’t wait to see them ripened and of course the taste test!
I’ve heard all good things about tiny Tim’s I may have to try them too
Stay safe and enjoy the rest of the weekend
Great video. For indeterminate tomatoes, pruning might mean more fruit but you're reducing foliage which could stunt plant growth and fruit production if the plant is new and doesn't have much foliage.
We have lots of snow pack too! Looking forward to seeing your results!
Tiki, how much space do you allow for your hydroponic setup? Do you have it set up in a basement since you have lighting? Thank you!
I ordered tiny tim because of your videos, Can't wait to try them!
Those plants look terrific. I sure would like to know the details; fertilizer, lighting, lighting schedule, etc.
How nice to see something growing with all the snow out there. Something is always blooming when you are around!
I would think to just prune where its dense so you have good air flow like you mentioned. Everything looks great!
My Micro Toms and Orange Hats are seemingly right on pace with your Tiny Tims. Lost power during a wind storm, so they were without light, and sitting around 50F for 3 days in mid january, but they managed to recover once power came back. Probably over a hundred tomatoes growing now, and a bunch of branches still flowering.
I love your videos! You’re channel is going to get over a million subs fast if you keep it up!
Where can I get some tiny Tim seeds
